God’s promises are yes and amen in Christ, yet we must learn to identify those that apply to our lives by looking at context and the heart of God behind them. Acting on faith looks different in every situation, but it always flows from genuine belief rather than desperation. Guarding thoughts and replacing doubt with praise is not positive thinking or denying reality; it is refusing to give temporary facts final authority while declaring God’s eternal Word as more real. Continue speaking the promise until manifestation comes or until you go to heaven, watching for growth from faith to faith. Past negative words can be brought to the cross, cleansed by the blood, and displaced by daily confession of truth. Do not force belief; meditate on the Word until it becomes believable in your heart. You are not asking for too much; you are probably asking for too little. Keep pressing in until the promises are lived in and lived out.
