Building unshakable foundations involves more than dramatic encounters with God. It requires establishing godly habits that run on autopilot, rooted in the truth of our new creation identity. Our spirit is perfect in Christ, seated in heavenly places, but our soul carries old patterns that must be renewed. Jesus taught that those who hear His words and do them are like the wise man whose house withstands the storm. Habits form through repeated choices involving triggers, actions, and rewards. By recognizing old scripts of fear or rejection and replacing them with biblical truth, we cooperate with the grace of God that empowers transformation. Practicing righteousness, choosing forgiveness by faith, and cultivating delight in the Word shift us from striving to rest. The goal is a stable, boringly glorious life where we know who we are in Christ and live from that settled reality. As we respond to the specific word the Spirit speaks in this season, we discover increasing freedom, peace, and fruitfulness that endures every test.
