Most believers are comfortable with the idea that God has a plan, yet many never move beyond that vague assurance into specific, defined understanding. God does not want His people wandering through life unsure of their purpose. He is constantly inviting us from the assumed to the defined, from low resolution to high resolution. One of the most powerful ways He does this is through questions. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus asked questions—not because He lacked knowledge, but because He wanted people to discover truth for themselves. When He asked the disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” He created space for Peter to step out of human reasoning into divine revelation. God operates in mystery and revelation, not merely question and answer. We receive revelation to the degree that we are willing to sit in mystery. The invitation is to come to God with a willingness to be questioned—to let Him ask us things about our lives, our identities, our seasons, and our futures. These questions become meeting places where revelation is born. The practical step is simple: get a notepad, give yourself permission to begin imperfectly, and start writing. See the vision, make it plain, write it down, and run with it.
