The spirit-filled life is not theoretical—we need the power of the Holy Spirit. Many have experiences but they do not last, leading to a top up mentality. In John 4, Jesus tells the woman at the well that the water he gives becomes a fountain springing to everlasting life. We start with a drink but it turns into a fountain. The challenge is to activate it. Believe it is there whether felt or not—walk by faith. Step into God’s sending—hineni, here am I send me. Speak God’s words and pray in tongues to release the fountain. Satan wants to steal your voice—do not mumble or let doubt stop you. Dedicate your mouth to the Lord for an outpouring by pouring out. Selah.
